Another exciting week for the Assumption Knights! It’s not every week you have a national television
crew roaming the halls. Best of luck to
Mrs. Martin on her trip to New York!
Check out some footage of the pep rally/sendoff we held for Mrs. Martin
on Thursday.
Thanks again to everyone who put in countless hours
preparing for this visit. It was a team effort from top to bottom. Special thanks to Mrs. McGuire for taking the
lead in putting the nostalgia cases in order.

Our student Technology Team met this week and provided input
on the laptop initiative. Their initial
impression is overwhelmingly positive.
They love the access and the speed of the machines. They also love the fact that the technology
they need is so readily accessible. No
more waiting for computers! They gave some
potential program options for us to explore adding to the computers. Thanks again for all of their help.
Speaking of technology, we will be holding a technology
meeting on Monday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the library. The purpose
of this meeting is to update our community on recent technological improvements
and initiatives and to discuss future initiatives. If you are interested
learning about the Assumption technology plan, please attend. If you are unable
to attend but have questions about the initiative, feel free to send me an
email: craiga@mail.assumption.pvt.k12.ia.us
Finally we had a wonderful rosary and presentation by Mrs.
Murphy on Thursday. I encourage all of
you to take a couple of minutes and listen to the strong words of faith she
shared with our student body. Awesome
words from a great teacher. Check out the video:
Have a great weekend!
